The B-You Program Manager…

1. Will be responsible for making sure that all of the programs are staffed according to our ratios.

a. Will be responsible for making adjustments to programs if necessary. (ex. If staff call in sick, or changes were needed after schedule is sent out).

b. Will communicate adjustments with all staff that it pertains to. This includes but is not limited to program aides, coordinators, Unit Director.

2. Will be responsible for overseeing the daily club cleaning and following cleaning procedures.

3. Will be responsible for assigning the cleaning assignments to the staff.

4. Will be responsible for being in the programs and making sure that the staff are staying engaged and following the plans that were prepared.

a. It is expected that you help out where needed. If the Front Desk needs help it is ok to help, however most of your time needs to be spent helping out the staff and their programs.

5. Will be responsible for helping out the staff with disciplinary actions as necessary.

6. Will be responsible for meeting on a bi-weekly basis with the Unit Director about the daily operations of the club, programs, and staff.

7. Will be responsible for holding the staff to high expectations and encourage and instruct all staff in a way that will promote their success as well as the programs overall success. Ex. Giving verbal warnings, giving write ups with the Unit Director.

8. Will be responsible for helping talk with parents about both positive and negative things that their child/children are doing at the club.

9. Will be responsible for making sure that the staff are doing organized activities during the open clubhouse times.

10. Will be responsible for making sure that the staff are following the daily schedule, schedule outlined for the day.

11. Will be responsible for asking any questions that he/she may have.

12. Will be responsible for communicating what is happening with children and the staff to the Unit Director. (Calling parents, continued issues with certain children, broken/damaged materials…).

13. Will be responsible for communicating to the Unit Director things that happens that involves a parent being angry, a child having disciplinary problems, bussing issues, concerns that staff or parents have, etc.

14. Will be responsible for covering the front desk when front desk staff are gone due to illness, vacation, or anything else preventing them from being at work.

15. Will be responsible for turning in a supply list when they are due.

16. Will be responsible for aiding the staff with the Steps of Conflict Resolution.

17. Will oversee/implement the Spotlight program.

18. Will be responsible for setting a positive example for all staff, kids, and volunteers who enter the programs.

a. This includes but is not limited to cell phone use, positivity, and our interactions with fellow staff.

b. For example no spandex, running shorts, revealing clothing, etc.

19. Will be responsible for greeting anyone in the building (parent, club member, board member, visitor, donor, etc.) with enthusiasm, professionalism, and kindness.

a. Connect with each parent (how is your day) (tell a story about their child) (Talk about the weather). No exceptions, this is customer service; parents and kids are our customers. Smile, laugh and make this the positive place we claim it is.

b. Do not just assume that everyone who walks in knows what he or she are supposed to be doing; ask how you can help them, and then direct them appropriately.

20. Will keep the camera on them at all times while in the program space and make sure staff are taking pictures of their programs as well.

21. Will demonstrate confidentiality, maturity, and responsibility, respect, empathy and high character in their talk, their club staff relationships, their tasks and their image while at the club and off-campus.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
