TITLE: School Site Coordinator

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, 2 breaks Lunch and Conference.
PROFILE SOURCE: Youth Development Professional

DEPARTMENT: WISD Smart Moves (Drug Awareness Curriculum), Be A Star(bullying curriculum), Healthy Habits ( Curriculum) and Triple Play ( Physical Fitness Curriculum)

REPORTS TO: CEO & Director of Operations

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Program Director is in charge of supervising the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of a particular program for children aged 6 to 12 in a designated Club. The program promotes Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character, and Citizenship. Additionally, the Program Director provides guidance and supervision to the program and volunteer staff

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging programs and activities for youth that align with the organization's mission.
• Educate youth on various topics, including life skills, health, and wellness.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a secure environment and adhering to first aid protocols.
• Supervise children during activities, ensuring their well-being and engagement.
• Collaborate with parents, schools, and community organizations to enhance program offerings.
• Maintain records of participant progress and provide feedback to parents as needed.

Requirements

• Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings is essential.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus; certification may be required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with youth, parents, and staff.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
