The Bradford Memory Care & Assisted Living is located in the wooded and lush greenbelt system of Humble, Texas. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist in which will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The person will be responsible for answering incoming calls, welcoming guest to the community, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. The position requires an understanding and commitment to the principals and values of the community. The position requires a caring nature and willingness to care for the elderly.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Answering telephones and directs caller to appropriate EP. Will transfer a caller to an EP’S voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable.
2. Greets and directs visitor to the company.
3. Will take and retrieve messages for various EP’s.
4. Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the community location, community fax numbers, company website, and other related information.
5. Receives, sorts and forward’s incoming mail. Maintains and routes publication.
6. Coordinates the pick-up delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
7. Assist in ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of office supplies.
8. May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photo copying, faxing, filing, and collating.
9. Provides tours and collects initial inquiry information when needed.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Possession of strong organizational skills. Is neat, accurate, dependable and keeps work/space clean.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skill. Adequate and clear English speaking and writing ability.
3. Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action.
4. Interacts in a professional manner with residents, public and co-workers. Works cooperatively with management. Displays willingness to assist co-workers when situations required.
5. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept directions given on assignments.
6. Able to work collectively with administrative team associates.
7. Willingness to cross-train with other community positions.
8. Ability to maintain strict resident and operational confidentiality.
9. Display cleanliness, good grooming, personal appearance and follow dress requirements consistently.
10. Maintain acceptable attendance record/follows work schedule.
11. Ability /willingness to follow all policies and procedures.
12. Ability to do occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) 30 lbs. regularly.
13. Ability to spend long periods on feet and to ambulate quickly.
14. Is free of non-treated communicable disease.
15. CPR/First aid certified preferred.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EDUCATION:
Possession of high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
