The Bradford in Bloomfield Hills, MI is actively seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and work to create a positive and supportive team atmosphere within the home, where all staff members contribute and are valued. Provide leadership to the team by providing support and direction to staff. Identify opportunities for improvement and actively participate in their implementation. Coordinate and communicate with the support team to maintain, promote, and monitor residents’ health and wellness. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents and staff.
Essential Functions- Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following duties:
- Distribute mail to residents and staff
- Copying documents for department heads
- Typing up documents for directors and administrator
- Answering phones and sending calls to the appropriate person
- Prepare doctor appointment reminders as needed
- Call & verify doctor appointments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, projects, special events, committees, and mandatory training as appropriate
- Completes competency evaluations for training as required by the state or as assigned by their immediate supervisor, HR Director, or Executive Director
- Maintains safety and health rules by participating in training along with implementing and following protocols related to OSHA & CDC regulations and Cardinal Senior Management Standards as required
Education & Knowledge Requirements- Specific education, certification, and licensure:
- High School Diploma or equivalent highly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Essential Job-Related Experience/Abilities:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Ability to walk continuously, bend frequently, and sit occasionally
- Ability to operate computer systems and phone systems.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
