The Safety Coordinator will establish and oversee the health and safety processes for the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities Include :
- Planning Health and Safety Program and Protocols for internal organization and clients
- Training staff internally and externally about health and safety standards
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations
- Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues
- Verifying that employees follow safety protocols
- Investigating workplace accidents and injuries
- Handling all reporting for safety incidents
- Handling Workers Compensation issues and working closely with insurance brokers and attorneys when necessary.
