What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Intern position at The Brand Guild?
The Brand Guild is looking for DC area-based interns to work with our Events team! We are a creative and passionate group of experts across Public Relations, Marketing, Events and Creative that build strategies, create experiences, and influence audiences for our clients. This is your chance to work with the country's most innovative, cutting-edge brands – companies that are truly revolutionizing how we work, play, and live. Our Events Intern will work directly with the Events team to assist in the brainstorming, conceptualizing, and execution of events and experiences for our award-winning clients. Our internships provide invaluable hands-on experience in a fantastic work environment, with the option for college credit.
Please note:
- Interns will receive a stipend of $2,500 (paid in 2 installments, one at the mid-point and one upon successful completion of the internship session)
- Interns are required to work a minimum of 16 hours per week (majority in-office)
- Events Interns will be asked to support on-site events as necessary (an hourly wage will be provided). Many take place after work hours or on weekends
- Events Interns must be located in the Washington, D.C. area
You will:
- Provide on-the-ground support day of and during events
- Monitor and research events in the DC area, and communicate findings and trends with the Events team
- Proofread, manage, and organize decks, proposals, run-of-show documents, and one-sheeters
- Compile research on new and existing clients in order to assist the team in strategizing and brainstorming event concepts and ideas
- Assist with the creation of proposals for upcoming events
- Conduct research on local vendors and partners
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the Events team
