Morning Baker (Monday-Friday)

Job description:

We are looking for a highly motivated person to add to our small, fun, and dedicated team. Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to learn quickly is a must! We will train you on how to manage commercial ovens, how to know when bread is ready to be baked and learning a small amount of mixing. This position is all about the quality control and making sure the product looks perfect for our customers. The bakery is very physical, fast paced, and you will be on your feet the whole shift, hard work but very rewarding. You will be working with a team but must be able to work independently once trained. No bakery experience required!

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Set schedule

Role and responsibilities:

• Main oven and proofer operator
• Egg wash spraying
• Managing space by ovens, grabbing cooling racks and clearing racks
• Coordinating oven usage with dough shapers
• Learn how to prioritize the appropriate products for the oven space available
• Shaping bread
• Pan prep
• Help load and unload ovens
• De-pan products
• Help with dishes and the cleaning of the bakery
• Clean and complete all tasks before leaving at the end of shift
• Assist the packaging department when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
