The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and accurate receiving of products purchased from the hotel by vendors. They play a vital role in ensuring product quality and quantity, as well as maintaining proper documentation and communication with various departments within the organization. The Receiving Coordinator also maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards and passing all testing requirements.

- Receive incoming products purchased from vendors and compare them against purchase documents.
- Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of incoming products.
- Clearly mark products with department information for easy identification.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HACCP records for incoming food products.
- Conduct tests on food products and enter results into the computer system.
- Enter receiving information accurately into the computer system.
- Liaise with the Purchasing, Warehouse, and Accounting departments to resolve any discrepancies between ordered and received items.
- Communicate with other departments in the hotel to notify them when items have arrived and are ready for pick up.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the Receiving office, loading bays, and Receiving corridor.
- Maintain a valid Food Manager Certification and adhere to food safety standards.
- Continuously monitor and comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately compare information.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to life, bend, push, pull up to 50lbs.
