Job Summary :
We are looking for a detail orientated Coordinator in Event Sales, who will provide support to Event Sales Managers while handling various administrative tasks efficiently. This position is responsible for producing and disseminating written documents and correspondence for Event Sales Managers in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. This position is responsible for managing electronic files, daily reporting and inquiries. This position is familiar with social events, hotel standards and thus assist in communication with clients and hotel staff on behalf of managers as necessary. They build and maintain strong positive relationships with clients and hotel team members. This position provides hands-on assistance to meet client requests or pop up needs in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. The idea candidate with have strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple and changing priorities. The ideal candidate will support the spirit of continuous improvement, green meeting standards, community service, wellness initiatives and superior guest services. The ideal candidate should have a high level of skill in written English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation. The idea candidate will be resourceful, solution driven and possess an advanced working knowledge of all programs within the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
