Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that customers receive top-notch hospitality throughout their visit.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about food preparation and ingredients.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Process payments using a cash register while adhering to proper cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation practices during food preparation and service.
- Manage time efficiently to accommodate multiple tables while providing attentive service to all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is beneficial.
