What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at The Breeze Cafe?
We are seeking for skillful and responsible front of house staff, who can assist servers, host and bussers. We will depend on you to ensure the flow of the service is efficient to achieve a hospitable experience to our guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and organize tables with proper sanitation for our guests
- Run food and beverages to our guests
- Anticipate all guest needs and fulfill requests in a timely matter
- Assist with expo window set-up
- Issue bills and accept payments
- Improve guest experience by interacting with them- Friendly, polite, patient
- Handle a fast-paced work environment
- Collaborate with the rest of the staff
- Remove empty tableware from guests
- Visually inspect all plates for correct portion, presentation and guest’s special requests prior to delivery
- Must be a team player to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist in all aspects of food delivery, including set up, stock stations and cleaning areas
License/ Certifications:
Food Handler Certification (Required)
California RBS Training (Required)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
