Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for processing orders, handling cash, and managing tabs efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service is essential.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
