Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are fulfilled correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for all patrons.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction and dining experience.
- Assist in banquet setups as needed, ensuring all food service areas are prepared for events.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to help guests and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
