As a Server on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
- Greet guests, present them with menu and inform guests about the specials of the day.
- Take food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads or on the handheld Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and beverage to the guest as per the course of order.
- Maintain proper dining experience, deliver items, fulfill customer needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, refill glasses.
- Obtain revenues, issue receipts and accept payments.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
- Coordinate with the dining room attendant, kitchen staff, and bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:
- Previous experience as a restaurant server.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependability and regular attendance.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
