What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Services Director position at The Bridge Assisted Living?
The Bridge Assisted Living, professionally managed by Ohana Ventures, is a premier senior living community that is seeking an experienced and energetic full time Social Services Director to join our Leadership team. The Social Services Director is responsible for the daily oversight of staff and coordination of care for the residents that call The Bridge home. Individual must have experience with operational aspects of managing residential program for people in a target population.
Health Care Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Staffing Coordinator in hiring, training, and evaluating care staff.
- Assist with implementing policies and procedures related to resident care.
- Conduct and record Quality Assurance audits
- Monitoring staff to ensure compliance to company policies and procedures
- Assist with problem solving resident and/or staff complaints
- Monitoring med room as directed by RN and Administrator to ensure Med Techs are completing daily tasks as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including communicating effectively with a diverse population.
- Excellent computer skills and ability to understand and utilize job-specific software/databases. Working knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize workload while dealing with multiple demands and priorities.
- Highly organized and able to adapt and deliver operational results while managing changing priorities.
- Ability to provide thoughtful and thorough analysis, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Proactive conflict management/resolution skills.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of records.
