OVERVIEW
The Bridge Church is a multisite church in Middle Tennessee that exists to be with Jesus and become like Him - for the sake of the world. The Bridge Church is located in a growing community where the one of the highest population is birth - 10 years old. In order to seize opportunity in reaching kids with the gospel and have ministry that can have maximum impact we want to see our Kids Ministry become a missional/evangelistic force in the city. This has created a growing need for an Elementary Kids Coordinator to invest in leaders and show kids the love of Jesus in creative and fun ways.
ROLE SUMMARY
Bridge Kids is one of the largest mission fields at The Bridge, with over 500 children coming through our ministry every weekend and hundreds of dedicated volunteers. The Bridge Kids Coordinator will be responsible for relational development with leaders, equipping small group leaders and volunteers in their roles, creating a fun and creative environment for kids to hear the Gospel, and innovate new ways to resource families as they disciple their children at our Columbia campus. This role requires a passion for the mission of Kids Ministry, but more importantly, the person in this role must be passionate to equip people with the resources they need and develop them to be leaders in ministry.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Bridge Kids Director to recruit, train, and onboard volunteers.
- Ensure that all roles for Sunday are properly staffed by inputting new volunteers into Planning Center, sending out weekly schedules, contacting leaders for confirmation, and recruiting subs as needed.
- Create and maintain a vibrant and healthy team culture (fun, positive, organized).
- Fully execute Sunday mornings at our Columbia campus by being present for all services, empowering key volunteers greeting and connecting with parents.
- Maintain a dynamic Large Group experience by overseeing and equipping the volunteer team.
- Oversee the curriculum preparation process including weekly handouts.
- Attend all weekly Kids Ministry staff meetings, monthly all staff meetings, and others as needed.
SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday
HOURS: 20 (must be available for special events & meetings, etc as needed)
STAFF LEVEL: Coordinator: reports to the Columbia Campus Pastor
