What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Pastor position at The Bridge Church?
OVERVIEW
The Bridge Church is a multisite church in Middle Tennessee that exists to be with Jesus and become like Him for the sake of the world. The Bridge Church is located in a growing community where the second highest population is 10-18 years old. We are looking for a Student Pastor who will seize the opportunity in reaching students with the gospel and have a ministry that can have maximum impact across Spring Hill.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Student Pastor will provide leadership and vision for all of Bridge Student Ministries along with executing all aspects of ensuring the spiritual growth and development of our high school students (grades 9-12th). Additionally, this person will oversee and lead the student staff team for both middle school and high school environments. This includes ministry-wide weekly programming, student small groups, special events (camps, retreats, large all ministry-wide events, etc), and missional presence in our local schools.

• Proven ability to recruit and raise up volunteers
• 7 years of student ministry experience (this is not an entry-level ministry position)
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the health and success of all Bridge Student Ministries (middle school and high school).
• Develop and equip the Middle School Director to lead and execute all middle school environments and initiatives with excellence.
• Oversee and manage all High School Ministry day-to-day operations.
• Create world-class programming: through weekly student gatherings, quarterly outreach events, yearly camps, and yearly retreats, where students come to know Christ and grow in intimacy with Him.
• Equip a team of volunteers to “pastor” the students so that students feel known, cared for, and loved.
• Lead the Student Ministry Teaching Team (work with the Middle School Director to create a teaching scope and sequence for all of Bridge Students).
• Partner with parents to equip them to be the primary discipler of their students.
• Build and maintain a relationship with area school faculty and students.
• Collaborate with the Pastor of Leadership Development to help students cultivate a love for the local church, and discover their calling to serve the local church (volunteering on ministry teams, interning, engaging in the residency program and eventually serving other churches as amazing staff members).
• Oversee the creation and execution of a social media plan that reaches and engages students.
• Responsible for the management of the Bridge Student Ministry budget.
SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday
HOURS: 45 hrs (must be available for special events & meetings, etc as needed)
