Job Summary:
The Office Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the daily operations of the office. The ideal candidate is highly organized and has excellent communication skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions
· Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry
· Maintain and organize office records, both electronic and physical
· Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
· Warmly greet visitors and provide them with necessary information or assistance
· Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and forms
· Support other departments with administrative tasks as required
· Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR department
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Strong values with a desire to learn and grow within the position
· Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace and comfortable learning new technology systems as needed
· Good organization skills with attention to detail
· Effective verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness
· Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of working in office environment
· Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
· Strong problem solving, reporting, and analytical skills
· Proven experience working in an office environment with resourceful mindset
· Additional HR training or experience is a plus
· Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Prior clerical or administrative experience including in an HR-related environment
