We are working with a 30 year-old, rapidly-growing construction design build contractor that has grown by 60% in the last five years! They have an incredible service, reputation, and commission plan. This role offers a company car, great training, and low overnight travel. They are looking for a Business Development Manager with a great hunter mentality to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Grow sales in assigned territory by developing relationships with key decision-makers.
- Work with the in-house marketing team to create and implement marketing efforts, cost control, and secure payment.
- Develop business plans, and market deep foundation systems, earth retention, foundation rehabilitation, soil stabilization, settlement control, and ground improvement systems.
- Develop extensive knowledge and skills within the industry.
- Deliver effective and professional presentations.
- Extensive travel throughout the territory (more than 40%)
Requirements:
- Hunter mentality
- 7 years experience growing technical solution sales revenue
- Previous experience negotiating with customers on contracts and pricing
- Comfortable and skilled at engaging with engineers, general contractors, and owners
- Working knowledge or experience in general construction, shoring and earth retention, Micropiles, and drilling (preferred)
