What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server, Fine Dining - CLUB position at The Bridges Club at Rancho Santa Fe?
The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe, Southern California's most beautiful, private country club is currently seeking exceptional, experienced candidates with cocktail knowledge to join our highly professional Food & Beverage service team. Must be available Thursday through Sunday, 2:00pm to close (Roughly 10:00pm)
As a Server you will be responsible for Food and Beverage service to club members and guest in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner, while maintaining The Bridges fine dining standards, steps of service.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card and RBS Certification is required.
- 3 years of service experience in a fine dining restaurant, country club, or resort.
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work life balance is an important piece at The Bridges, our service team rarely works beyond 10:00 pm.
- Good understanding of liquor, wine, and beer.
- Exhibits integrity (honesty and truthfulness).
- Has attention to detail.
- Courteous and can smile spontaneously.
- Must have excellent communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift and carry a tray weighing up to 40 lbs. through a busy dining area.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work up to 8 hours per shift.
