Job Description
The Briggs Group is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join our team at Plaza Advisory, where you will play a key role in cultivating meaningful client relationships through dedicated service and frequent interaction. As a valued team member, you will collaborate with Advisors and Partners on a variety of projects designed to meet client needs. Essential Responsibilities
· Service existing clients via financial planning, wealth management, and advisory services.
· Relationship management to retain high net worth and business owner clients.
· Communicate and collaborate with the Investment Team regarding investment strategy and client portfolio structure to best fit client needs.
· Client meeting planning, facilitation, and presentation along with lead advisor
· New business development is not required but can serve as an opportunity if capacity and interest exist.
· Ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks related to client records.
- Assisting Advisors and Partners in daily operations and developing a comprehensive understanding of team processes and procedures
- Establishing a rapport with clients as a trusted liaison between the client and Advisors
Key Skills
- Experience with Financial terminology, investments, planning, and products.
- Ability to come into the office on a regular weekly basis (hybrid work schedules are available; however, this position is not remote)
- Proficient in all Microsoft products- Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Experience with Financial Planning software – not required.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify difficult financial concepts for a non-financial audience.
· Strong work ethic, exceptional integrity, and highly professional
- Compliance with all industry rules, regulations, and firm policies
- Works well in team format
Required Experience/ Education/ Certificates:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
· 4 years in experience supporting a financial planner/advisor at an RIA, Wire house, or Broker Dealer with direct experience planning and interfacing with high-net-worth private clients
· Series 65 or 66 certification
· Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation or open to working towards
· Certified Public Account (CPA) – not required, but we are looking for.
