As a Business Development IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects that align with our business objectives. Your role will involve planning, executing, and finalizing projects within scope, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage resources effectively. • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution. • Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management. • Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting innovation and continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in IT project management and business development, preferably in a government contracting environment. • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex IT projects. • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Technical skills including proficiency in SQL and database design (SQL, Postgres, Oracle). • Working knowledge of Python and data science tools and techniques. • Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments. Preferred Qualifications: • PMP or other relevant project management certification. • SCRM Agile/SAFe experience • Experience working with government agencies or in a similar industry. • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
