JOB TITLE: Front Desk Receptionist
JOB PURPOSE: As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will serve as the initial point of contact for the school, providing essential administrative support. Your role encompasses ensuring smooth visitor flow, handling inquiries with warmth and efficiency, and executing various clerical tasks. You'll work closely with the administrative team to uphold the school's standards of professionalism and excellence.

Key Relationships & Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Welcome and direct visitors, parents/guardians, and students with a friendly demeanor.
- Assist visitors with various tasks, maintaining a helpful and positive attitude.
- Manage incoming calls, providing information and forwarding calls as necessary.
- Monitor stock and provide Point of Sale services for in-person payments for the school’s online uniform and Spirit Wear shop.
Office Processes:
- Ensure school security protocols are followed, including monitoring access and issuing identity passes.
- Monitor and respond to the administration email inbox, redirecting messages as appropriate.
- Coordinate transportation for school trips, researching and arranging coaches and buses when required.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance and phone call logs.
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and creating spreadsheets.
- Coordinate mail services and manage office supply inventory.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support school events and activities.
- Assist during student lunch and break times as needed.
- Assist with teachers and staff with student registration processes.
- Coordinate photography scheduling and provide assistance during Picture Day events to ensure a smooth operation and a positive experience for students and staff.
- Take a lead role in collating, coordinating, and designing the Yearbook, ensuring all deadlines are met promptly and all classes, clubs, activities, and events are accurately and fairly represented.
- Always maintain a clean, welcoming, and orderly foyer and reception area.
Required Education, Certifications, and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

- Excellent time management abilities
- Proven track record in customer service roles
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
