Job Description:
Project Overview
- Supporting Linux patching in areas around enterprise data platforms – focus on vulnerability
- Ensure patching is in place, after patching is completed looking for someone to have an understanding of how patching has impacted the platform it's running on, ability to then gauge if patch has impacted platform or not
- General OS patching - underlying infrastructure that they are patching
Required Skills –
- 3 – 5 years of experience within vulnerability
- Strong Linux / Unix system administration experience and Informatica and/or Hadoop patching (preferred)
- Ability to analyze vulnerability reports – Kenna tool
- Linux Engineer who has experience with running Hadoop clusters on top of it is good to have
