What you will be doing:
- Verifies and matches invoices, receiving records and purchase orders.
- Verifies general ledger coding or assigns appropriate coding when necessary.
- Posts invoices through computer systems.
- Prepares payment batches daily.
- Answers all vendor inquiries and work closely to solve any invoice problems.
- Reconciles vendor statements.
- Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
- Trouble shoots problems involving receivers and invoices.
- Sorts mail daily and distribute to appropriate Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Works with internal departments to get invoices approved and coded.
What we are looking for:
- Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or three years relevant experience
- The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 25 pounds
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
