What you will be doing:
- Set up and breakdown bars and bar tables.
- Ensure tables are neatly and appropriately set with polished glassware and all products per event specification.
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails or other drinks.
- Serves wine from the bar and tableside when needed and bottled or draft beer.
- Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations, function space, guest tables, and storage spaces.
- Respond to guests' needs and assist fellow staff members as needed.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
- Serve alcohol in a responsible manner that abides by Colorado Liquor Law.
- Fill orders for servers at the side of the bar
- Function as a productive, energetic member within a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Receive and follow through on requests and instructions from various sources, such as Captains, Chefs, Management, and Clients.
- Maintains professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Attend all mandatory hotel and department trainings and meetings.
- Follow all safety and security policies, reports any suspicious activities, and Lost and Found items to maintain a safe workplace.
- Follow all procedures to properly use, store and transport equipment in a safe manner to ensure equipment is not damaged.
- Read, understand BEOs, and follow assignments based on the information noted on the BEOs.
- Utilize InfoGenesis POS Software to sell drinks to guests at a cash bar.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with experience working in the Food and Beverage industry.
- Flexibly in schedule as it will change often.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- In compliance with state liquor laws, must be at least 18 years of age.
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
