What you will be doing:
- Schedule interviews with job applicants in coordination with respective manager
- Process salary and wage increases, track time and attendance, terminate employees and administer COBRA as necessary
- Partner with Broadmoor HR and Accounting to maintain policies and procedures as necessary
- Assists with Cog payroll and accounts payable processing
- Check Refunds & Expense Reports
- Processes and records daily bank cash drops
- Implement and maintain filing and record keeping system in accordance with Broadmoor policy
- Applies all Broadmoor/Cog policies and procedures consistently
- Guides management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
- Provides counsel to managers and employees
- Oversees progressive disciplinary process and policy
- Oversees and processes incident reports & insurance claims
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
- Attend Broadmoor HR and Accounting classes as necessary to maintain qualifications
- Ensure confidentiality of all data
- Implement Cog procedure and policy changes
- Maintain appropriate visitor flow into the Cog’s main office
- Assist Cog management team with administrative tasks
- Works with Broadmoor HR through employee complaints, investigations, accommodations and other situations as they arise
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
- Must have at least three years of management and supervision experience preferably in the tourism/hospitality and attractions industry. Administrative or Human Resources experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
