Job Title: Seamstress Valet
Job Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.

Job Summary:

As a member of the Laundry team, you will be responsible collaborating with their peers to ensure that timeline specifications from the customer are being accomplished all the time.

What you will be doing:

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Facilitating work assignments for the seamstress team.
• Supplying all needed resources for the seamstresses to be successful.
• Tailor/alter or repair clothing as needed
• Communicate with customers about appointments, due dates, and pricing
• Use and maintain sewing machines
• Use computer to make ticket regarding necessary alterations
• Conduct fitting appointments with customer
• Know and maintain quality standards
• Know and maintain safety requirements and production standards
• Service customers needing alterations at the counter
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times and employee may be exposed to fumes, toxic, or caustic chemicals.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
