The Broadway Columbia Hotel and Hampton Inn and Suites (at the University of Missouri) is currently hiring candidates for the Banquet event server position. The ideal candidate will have flexible availability, have previous serving or bartending experience, and be committed to being a part of a great team. Primary Job Function: Preparing banquets, meetings, and other events.
Essential Job Functions:
· Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards are being upheld.
· Control inventories of food, beverage, equipment, smallware, and report overages/shortages to designated personnel.
· Specify food portions and courses, production and time sequences, and workstation and equipment arrangements.
· Participate in kitchen, event space and dining area cleaning activities.
· Any other duties which may be required to ensure guest satisfaction.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
