Job Title: Floor Runner
Department: Housekeeping
Reports to: Housekeeping Manager
Job Overview: The Floor Runner plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency between the two towers of our property. This position is primarily responsible for the transportation and management of linen, ensuring that both clean and dirty linens are appropriately handled and delivered. The Floor Runner will also assist in various housekeeping and guest service duties to maintain the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
We are currently looking for two shifts per week.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Transport dirty linen from guest rooms and the linen chute area in Tower 2 to the laundry facility in Tower 1.
- Assist in stripping rooms and sorting linen to ensure proper laundry care.
- Deliver clean linen and other supplies directly to floors and housekeeping staff as needed.
- Stock housekeeping closets and ensure that all necessary items are readily available.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the hallways, including vacuuming and removing debris.
- Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or amenities and deliver these items directly to guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues observed on the floors to the management immediately.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support overall hotel operations.
