The Broken Controller VR Experience is an entertainment venue unlike any other, offering an immersive virtual or augmented reality experience for all. With options for team play, player vs. player, co-operative experiences, and traditional arcade games, there's something for everyone.
Responsibilities:
As a Broken Controller VR Experience Team Member, you will be responsible for anticipating guest needs and exceeding their expectations while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. Your specific duties will include:
- Greeting guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
- Explaining the operation of games to guests.
- Notifying the manager of any game errors.
- Performing minor troubleshooting on games.
- Actively looking for ways to help and interact with guests.
- Paying attention to detail and focusing on guests while understanding basic game and simulator operations.
- Assisting with resolving guest issues and notifying the manager to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Communicating clearly and professionally while enthusiastically interacting with guests and fellow co-workers.
- Performing opening, running, and closing department duties as assigned.
- Operating registers, kiosks, and POS systems.
- Counting money in the cash drawer at the beginning of the shift to ensure accurate pars.
- Performing basic math functions to collect and process payments for all activities purchased.
- Receiving payments by cash, credit card, or vouchers and issuing receipts, credits, and/or change to guests.
- Restocking merchandise, drinks, and snacks as necessary.
- Observing, instructing, and monitoring guests for safety and guideline adherence.

- Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.

- Walk or stand 100% of shift.
- Reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
