Compassionate Care for People Aging with HIV
At PATH Center, we are dedicated to supporting individuals aging with HIV. We seek a skilled and empathetic Physician Assistant to join our collaborative team, where you will empower patients and contribute to innovative care solutions.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to HIV-positive patients of all ages, including counseling and treatment for PrEP and PEP
- Manage patient admissions and referrals to the ER Department and ensure confidentiality
- Educate patients on HIV treatment, adherence, and prevention strategies
- Oversee clinical team members as assigned by the Medical Director
- Participate in performance improvement, program development, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Contribute to new program initiatives addressing clinical and psychosocial needs of HIV-affected children, adult and geriatric patients
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of PATH Center services
- Lead and conduct monthly OB multidisciplinary rounds
