Shift Leader

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Shift Leader to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, pride, great team work and a passion for delivering exceptional service in the food industry. As a Shift Leader, you will be hands on, cooking, taking orders, opening and closing the restaurant. You will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth service.
• Train, mentor, and manage staff to maintain high performance levels.
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Manager to implement operational strategies that improve efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to provide a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
