What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at The Brown Hotel?
Front Desk/Guest Service Agent responsibilities include:
Checking guests in/out in a timely/professional manner, ensuring proper credit is received, handling special requests when needed; interacting with guests and/or hotel staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information; strict adherence to department service standards and cash handling procedures.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
Prior experience at a full service hotel or property of similar caliber and a polished professional appearance. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays and possess exceptional phone manners, customer service and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of time.
Prior hotel experience is a definite plus but not required.
