What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Manager position at The Brown Hotel?
This position will manage in J. Graham's Cafe (open daily 7am-3pm)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Daily direction of staff, organizing work assignments and conducting pre-shift meetings, maintaining profitability and ensuring exceptional customer service.
The right candidate will be a poised and organized professional who has the ability to interact positively with customers and staff to create an exceptional dining experience. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
Prior management experience in an upscale full-service restaurant.
Hotel experience is preferred but not required. Must have a strong knowledge of food, wine and cocktails, a well-polished professional appearance, exceptional oral and written communication skills, able to work in a fast paced environment, must be organized and detailed oriented. Must be available to work early morning shifts including weekends and holidays.
