Job Description
Job Description
Remote opportunity for a Colorado Licensed Attorney. We are looking for a driven attorney with a focus on criminal law. Do you thrive in a supportive, tight-knit environment, where your work makes a real impact? If yes, we want to hear from you! Our law firm in Steamboat Springs is searching for an Associate Attorney to join our growing team. We are considering this a remote position, unless you are in the Steamboat area and want work in the office. The Brown Law Firm has over 20 years of experience in Colorado and Alaska. In Colorado, we handle all levels of criminal cases in mountain towns, mostly in and Routt and Moffat Counties, but also in Jackson, Grand, Rio Blanco, Eagle and Summit Counties. Opportunities to do trials in the 14th District will be available, if you want to travel to the area for trial experience. While we are available to provide advice and support, the end goal is someone who will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand holding. We have several support staff members, who have been a part of our team for several years, to help as well. The attorney will be asked to appear virtually on behalf of existing counsel, and also entrusted with existing and new cases, with the autonomy to handle them with guidance from start to finish, including court appearances, DMV hearings and potential jury trials. No requirement to travel for trial, another attorney on our team can do the trials if you do not want to. We are seeking someone who excels in the courtroom but also values client relationships. Your role will extend beyond legal representation as you guide clients through the legal process, earn their trust and secure the best possible outcome for their case. Email us for more information, if in the Steamboat area we can discuss full employment options rather than contract employment.
