">We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring prompt recognition and seating of all guests, while providing attentive and courteous service throughout their dining experience.
">Responsibilities
">- Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner
- Be attentive to guests' needs and provide a pleasant dining experience
- Assist the cashier in collecting payment for guest transactions
- Prepare cash reports at the end of each shift
- Payout servers' and service attendants' tips as required
- Take reservations for outlets as needed
- Maintain menu quality control regarding cleanliness and appearance
- Perform opening and closing duties according to established procedures
- Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials
- Assist servers and cashiers in serving guests as needed
- Familiarize yourself with state liquor laws
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
">- High school diploma or equivalent experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Ability to stand during entire shifts
- Effective communication skills with employees and guests
- Maintenance of regular attendance in compliance with Highgate standards
- Adherence to high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Compliance with Highgate standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations
- Initiative to anticipate and address guest or operational needs
Salary Information
