Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”. The Barback is responsible for working with our Bartenders, and serving guests at the level of service established by management. The duties of the position are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Barback is responsible for assisting with bar opening and closing procedures, as well as performing various behind-the-bar tasks, such as restocking the bar and preparing garnishes.
· Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins, coasters, straws, and all other necessary items before and during service hours.
· Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, replenish snacks and fruits.
· Keep the bar area neat. Remove trash and clean up drink spills. Clean rags throughout shift.
· Collect empty glasses and bottles, wipe down and organize tables and counters.
· Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff and security personnel to ensure efficient service to customers.
· Assist Bartenders as needed during rush hours.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
· High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
· Minimum age to serve alcohol
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Interest in the hospitality industry; previous entry-level experience in a bar or restaurant is not mandatory, but will be considered a plus
· Basic knowledge of bar menu items and recipes (different types of beers and mixed drinks) not mandatory, but a plus.
· Physical ability to lift beer kegs, hold trays of bottles and glassware and stand during the shift
· Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and holidays

The Brownwood Hotel and Spa functions 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
