Come Join our Team at The Brownwood Hotel & Spa and be a part of our story! We are a luxury AAA Four Diamond Property located in The Villages, FL is seeking a Full-Time Public Areas Housekeeping Attendant.
Job SUMMARY
Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for serving guests at the level of service established by management.
The Public Areas Attendant maintains the cleanliness of the common areas such as lobby, public restrooms, fitness center, outdoor patios, guest corridors, stairwells and elevators, ensuring all areas of the hotel are kept clean and properly stocked to uphold our AAA Four-Diamond designation. The duties of the position are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
· Ensure an environment in which high standards of customer service and quality exist for our guest.
· Ensures each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly, professional environment.
· Maintains cleanliness throughout the hotel.
· Cleans the inside and outside general common areas of the hotel.
· Vacuums, dusts, mops, and organizes hotel areas.
· Takes garbage out.
- Assists housekeeping department with additional cleaning projects.
· Comply with all safety requirements of the job.
· Put the needs of the customer first while maintaining a positive attitude.
· Speak to every employee and guest you come in contact with.
· Exemplify The Brownwood Hotel & Spa standards of Excellence.
· Complies with Company Standards of Service as outlined by The Brownwood Hotel & Spa.
· Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
· Treats guests, vendors, customers, and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
Education:
· High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
· 1 to 3 year’s hotel housekeeping experience preferred. Will train.
