Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized weekend Host/Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and wait list. Maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Assist in managing wait times and communicate with guests regarding their seating status.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Package takeout orders
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, particularly Toast POS.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
