Title: Clean Room Technician
Location: Durham, NCSchedule: Monday to Wednesday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm and Saturday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMPay Rate: $20.00/hr
Summary
This role ensures strict compliance with cGMP, GDP, and ALCOA principles by performing routine and non-routine cleaning, sanitization, and documentation in GMP-controlled environments. The Clean Room Technician is responsible for preventing contamination, maintaining inventory, and adhering to all safety procedures and SOPs to ensure regulatory compliance. It may be required to work holidays and overtime if needed.
Requirements:
cGMP experience is required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs precisely.
Ability to read and write in English for documentation purposes.
Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ALCOA principles preferred.
Experience in cleanroom environments is a plus but not required.
Physical Demands:
Regularly stand, walk, bend, push, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks, gloves, and cleanroom garments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine sanitization in GMP process areas, ensuring proper rotation and documentation/labeling of cleaning agents.
Maintain strict adherence to GDP and ALCOA compliance for accurate documentation.
Mix and dispose of sanitization solutions and manufacturing waste safely and per SOPs.
Handle, stock, replace, and organize cleanroom supplies, including gowning materials and sanitization agents.
Collaborate with facility and quality teams to maintain cleaning schedules and respond to contamination events.
Follow proper solvent handling procedures and adhere to safety protocols.
Work in a potentially biohazardous environment with exposure to controlled substances and infectious agents, following all required safety guidelines.
Conduct sanitization using appropriate equipment and handle solvents and PPE properly.
Other Responsibilities:
Pass cleanroom gowning qualification tests.
Follow all client protocols and regulatory requirements.
Perform related duties as assigned.
