Join Our Team as a Part-Time Floor Technician!
High Point Public Schools is seeking a reliable and experienced Floor Technician to join our dedicated facilities team. If you take pride in maintaining clean and safe learning environments, we encourage you to apply!
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Part-Time)
Compensation: $14.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our school facilities, primarily focusing on floor care. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Operating and maintaining a ride-on scrubber for hard floor surfaces.
Performing stripping and waxing procedures on various floor types.
Utilizing a ride-on vacuum for efficient carpet cleaning.
Performing general cleaning tasks such as mopping and sweeping floors.
Dusting surfaces in classrooms and common areas.
Sanitizing high-touch areas to ensure a healthy environment.
Cleaning glass surfaces.
Pulling trash and ensuring proper disposal.
Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
Qualifications:
Proven previous experience as a Floor Technician is required.
Must have demonstrated experience operating a ride-on scrubber and ride-on vacuum.
Familiarity with stripping and waxing procedures is essential.
Ability to perform general cleaning duties effectively and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Salary : $15
