Job Description:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial General Cleaner to join our team at Rockbridge Area Health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in accordance with established guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
Empty trash and recycling bins
Restock supplies as needed
Follow safety procedures and maintain cleaning equipment
Report any maintenance or repair needs to management
Requirements:
Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
