We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant Account Manager to join our growing team. This role supports the Account Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring client satisfaction, and managing janitorial staff at assigned client locations. Job Location: Greater Charleston Area with sites in Mt. Pleasant, Downtown, West Ashley, and North Charleston Job Hours: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends for special projects Hourly Pay: $21.00 Job Summary: The Janitorial Assistant Account Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring the smooth execution of janitorial services. This position involves direct interaction with clients, supervision of cleaning staff, quality control inspections, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities: Client Relations: Assist the Account Manager in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and concerns. Conduct regular site visits to client locations to assess service quality and address any issues. Proactively identify and address potential client concerns before they escalate. Staff Management: Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of janitorial staff. Schedule and manage staff to ensure adequate coverage for all client locations. Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed. Address employee issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of employee hours, attendance, and performance. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of client sites to ensure adherence to cleaning standards and specifications. Implement and enforce quality control procedures. Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards. Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available at client locations. Operations Management: Assist in the development and implementation of cleaning schedules and procedures. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Administrative Support: Assist with preparing proposals and contracts. Maintain accurate records of client information, service agreements, and invoices. Process payroll and other administrative tasks as needed. Prepare reports on client activity, staff performance, and other relevant metrics. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Proven experience in the janitorial/cleaning industry, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to manage and motivate staff. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, 1 Outlook)
