Job Posting: Locksmith 🗝️Location: Greensboro, NC 📍Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM (On-call nights & weekends) 🗓️🔄Pay Rate: $25.00 /hour (based on experience) 💵
The Budd Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our facilities team. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and security of campus facilities through the management and maintenance of locks, keys, and access systems. 🏫🔐
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain locks, door hardware, and access control systems 🔒🔧
Cut, duplicate, and issue keys for authorized personnel 🔑
Respond to lockouts and resolve issues with locks and access systems promptly 🚪⚡
Inspect and assess the security of doors and locks, making recommendations for upgrades as needed 🔍🔑
Maintain accurate records of key distribution and lock changes 📋✅
Be available for occasional weekend or on-call shifts to handle urgent locksmith needs 📞🗓️
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a locksmith 🔑🎓
Knowledge of keying systems, locks, and access control technologies 🧠🔒
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail 🧰🔍
Ability to handle sensitive security-related tasks with discretion 🤫
Flexibility to accommodate occasional weekend or on-call shifts ⏰🔄
