Position: Non CDL Driver / Material Handler
Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Pay: $16.00/hr
Location: North Charleston, SC (Off Leeds Avenue)
Experience Required: 6 months to 12 months of warehouse/material handling experience.Restrictions: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Position requires assisting with the moving of materials. Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, push, and pull. Must be able to read and interpret work orders.
Overview: Will be responsible for assisting in the Warehouse. Will work under the Warehouse Manager. Duties include, but not limited to: Assisting in the transportation and delivery of supplies and materials throughout the warehouse. Reading and understanding work orders. Assisting with the pick up and delivery of materials. Example of materials could be kits, books, furniture, equipment, and any material related to the Education field. Help maintain cleanliness of warehouse. Reporting any unsafe conditions to Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to pass a background check.
Must have a VALID driver's license and good MVR
Must be familiar with basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, or hand trucks.
