Duties
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Buss tables and maintain cleanliness in the café area to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Perform basic math calculations for accurate change and transaction totals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cash handling or as a cashier in a quick service fast food .
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
