Warehouse Shipping Wrangler

Job Overview

The Bug Company, a leader in its industry, is excited to announce the availability of a new position in our shipping team. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to assume the role of Warehouse Shipping Wrangler. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a proactive and organized individual to facilitate our shipping operations and ensure that our products reach our customers promptly and efficiently. It is important to note that this position is based onsite and is not eligible for remote work.

As a Shipping Wrangler with The Bug Company, you will be at the heart of our product distribution. This position plays a crucial role in our supply chain process, as you will handle the wrangling of our crickets for shipping. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, exhibit outstanding organizational skills, and possess the ability to tackle the physical demands of a wrangler.

Responsibilities

• Wrangle Crickets for shipping.
• Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Prepare orders for shipment ensuring they meet the company standards.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Accurately label packages with the correct shipping and product information.
• Report any inventory or service issues to leadership.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all orders are fulfilled and dispatched on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment and tools, reporting any malfunctions or supply needs.
• Handle delicate items with care and special attention to packaging guidelines.
• Enhance department reputation by taking ownership of new and different tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and move heavy packages consistently through your shifts.
• Ability to load and unload trucks.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, able to communicate clearly with team members and leadership.
• Packaging/assembly experience is optional - we will train you.
• Must be able to work directly with and handle live insects.

Shift

Sunday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

**Hours will fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and company needs**
