Entry Level Carpenter's Helper

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter Helper to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting skilled carpenters in various construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Carpenter Helper, you will gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters with various tasks including concrete forming, cabinet installation, and flooring installation.
• Support the restoration industry by helping with drywall installation and repairs.
• Participate in construction painting and other finishing tasks as needed.
• Help with roof installations and repairs under the guidance of experienced carpenters.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all materials are properly stored.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies during work activities.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of carpentry principles and practices.
• Experience or familiarity with concrete forming techniques is a plus.
• Understanding of cabinet installation processes is beneficial.
• Skills in flooring installation, drywall work, or construction painting are advantageous.
• Ability to perform maintenance person tasks as required by project needs.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery is a nice-to-have skill for specific projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions from lead carpenters.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
