Job Title: Millwork Specialist
Reports to: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Division: Greensboro, NC
Summary:
Responsible for designing, crafting, and installing custom woodwork, including cabinetry, trim, and molding, while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to client specifications.
Job Duties:
- Operates in a team atmosphere.
- Follow processes to maintain quality and schedule .
- Observe proper safety practices in the shop.
- Maintains a positive work environment and work well alone or in collaboration with team members.
- Responsible for making custom millwork products according to quality and time standards. Projects will include but are not limited to timber products (corbels, gable truss), cabinetry, and doors.
- Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies, as required.
- Follows company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Superior Prior experience in a specialty wood shop is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to read blueprints and production tickets
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Good math skills
- Good time management
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not required.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Custom Woodworking is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic woodworking tools (ban saw, joiner, planer).
- Ability to learn set up of shapers and Arc Molder.
- Ability to learn to program and run CNC.
- Willingness to gain knowledge of CAD software for design and planning.

Work Environment:
While performing this job’s duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
